Harbour Pointe is on the east side of New Bern across the Neuse River Bridge.

The golf course meanders through the Fairfield Harbour development over undulating terrain carved through a pine forest. It's a shotmaker's layout, well bunkered along the fairway landing zones and greens, with numerous ponds and wetlands in play. From the tips, the course can play to 6,577 yards with a 134 slope; the white tees are 6,094 yards, 68.6/120 course, and slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Rees Jones and D.J. DeVictor.
