The Griffin Bell Golf Links at Southwestern State University adjoins the University to the south in Americus.

The golf course is a classic layout from the 1940s that moves along narrow and rolling, tree-lined fairways with an equal share of straightforward and dogleg holes. There are several ponds and a stream in play and smallish greens, half of which are protected by sand bunkers. It's a shotmaker's layout at 6,096 yards from the tips, with 68.9/120 course/slope ratings, and three shorter tees.
