Greensboro National is in the foothills north of Greensboro between US 29 and US 220 in Summerfield.

The golf course is a traditional layout along generous, tree-lined fairways over rolling contours within an upscale, residential community. There are water hazards in play on 11 holes and sand bunkers defending the generous greens and the occasional fairway landing zone. The course was designed by Don Charles and plays to 6,806 yards from the black tees, 72.1/135, course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees.
