While Grande Oaks, the golf club where Caddyshack was filmed, is a private club, several hotels in the immediate area including the Ritz Carlton, Marriott, and the Hyatt have a reciprocal arrangement with the golf club providing access for guests. The club is located out west of town in Davie off I-595 at University then west on 30th street.

The golf course has the feel of a mature, northern parkland layout as it moves along oak tree lined fairways over slightly rolling topography with numerous water features and an abundance of sand traps. It plays to 6,752 yards from the tips, 72.6/138, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees. It was originally designed in the 1950s as Rolling Hills until it was taken private with a redesign by Raymond Floyd.
