The Golf Club at Fox Acres is an hour northwest of Fort Collins in the Red Feather Lakes Area on a 450 acre tract of land surrounded by the Roosevelt National Forest and the Rawah and Medicine Bow mountain ranges.

The golf course is chiseled into mountainous, forested terrain at 8,300 feet above sea level. The layout journeys along Ponderosa pine and sandstone rock outcropping lined fairways with 15 lakes/ponds and over 100 sand bunkers along the landing zones and defending the greens. It was designed by John Cochran and plays to 6,481 yards, 70.9/141, course/slope ratings off the tips with four shorter tees.
