Glen Oak is located in far northeast Buffalo at the end of I-990 as it merges into Millersport.

The golf course is a classic, parkland design with trees bordering the fairways, water in play on 14 holes, and fingered sand bunkers lining the fairways and surrounding the greens. The opening and closing holes are somewhat uninspiring, but the set in the middle provide balance to the overall layout. There's four sets of tees from 5,596 yards to 6,915 yards, the Blue tees are a stern test at 6,638 yards, 72.0/123, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in the 1960s with follow-on work by Scott Witter.
