Gibson Bay is a municipal golf course located 30 minutes south of Lexington on the east side of Richmond just west of the Blue Grass Army Depot.

The golf course is a roomy, parkland layout over rolling hills along tree lined fairways with multiple holes bordering Lake Reba. There's several ponds, wetlands, and a stream in play but a modest amount of sand traps mostly defending the greens. The layout plays to 7,130 yards, 73.7/131, course/slope from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan.
