Galena Ridge is about an hour east of Spokane, off I-90 at the Kellogg exit for the Silver Mountain Resort.

The golf course is a mountain-style, 9-hole layout providing significant elevation change, with the fairways somewhat generous but lined by tall fescue rough. There are numerous deep bunkers in the fairways and around the greens, which are modest in size, slightly undulating, and quick. The golf course was designed by John Thronson and plays to 3,595 yards from the tips for a par of 35, 37.2/135, course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees.
