The Gaines County Golf Course is north of Seminole on Hwy. 385. It is set in a large grove of trees on the left side of the highway, surrounded by cotton fields and oil/gas production facilities.

The course features a slight change in elevation, with trees defining the fairways, though not enough to counter the constant west Texas wind. It traverses broad fairways along several water features with a set of generally long par 3s and massive green complexes defended by sand bunkers. The tips will play to 6,685 yards, with a 70.7/110 course/slope rating, and feature two shorter tees, designed by Jim Terry.
