Firekeeper is part of the Prairie Band Casino about 20 minutes due north of Topeka surrounded by fields and forests.

The layout has a blend of open and forested, mounded fairways bordered by tall fescue grasses. There's a moderate amount of sand traps along with several water features as it saunters along isolated and unique, fairway corridors. It can play as long as 7,560 yards or as short as 4,796 yards from the forward tees, the Buffalo tees are 6,325 yards, 71.8/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Notah Be**** III and Jeff Brauer.
