Fire Ridge Golf Course is on the east side of Millersburg on Route 62, carved through the forests of Holmes County, with homes bordering a few of the holes.

The course is over a wild tract of hilly land along tree-lined fairways with water hazards on seven holes and sand bunkers mostly defending the modest greens. The original front side is a playable warm-up to a more challenging and target-style backside. There are four sets of tees from 4,317 yards to 6,296 yards from the tips, 70.4,/124, course/slope ratings, and design work by Ron Cutlip.
