Ferry Point is located in the South Bronx at the foot of the Whitestone Bridge twelve miles from Midtown Manhattan and eight miles from LaGuardia.

The golf course is a links style design providing views of the Manhattan skyline, the East River, and Whitestone & Throggs Neck Bridges throughout the golf course, and is anything but quiet and peaceful with the constant bridge traffic. The firm fairways are bordered by tall fescue and wide open to the constant wind coming off the East River. The fairway corridors are bordered by dunes-like mounding with jagged edged sand bunkering along the fairways and guarding the large ranging, contoured, and somewhat elevated green complexes. There's five sets of tees from 5,278 yards to 7,407 yards from the tips with the white tees at 6,068 yards, 69.7/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Jack Nicklaus and John Stanford.
