The Fairways of Halfmoon is midway between Albany and Saratoga Springs on the west side of Hudson River in Mechanicville.

The layout provides broad fairways with stands of trees at the borders as it roams over level terrain with numerous water hazards in play and sand bunkers sprinkled along the fairways and greens. It plays to 6,430 yards from the tips, 70.4/124 course and slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Gary Van Alstyne.
