The Emporium CC is 8 miles south of Emporium on Rt 120, The Memorial Highway, along the Driftwood Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek in the Pennsylvania Wilds Region.

The golf course is in a scenic setting surrounded by mountains and bordered by the Creek. It is a traditional design over rolling terrain and along tree-lined fairways, with a few water hazards and sand bunkers in play and modest oval or kidney-shaped greens. There are three sets of tees, the tips playing to 6,032 yards, 68.5/119, course/slope ratings, designed by Ferdinand Garbin in the 1950s.
