Eagle Bend is a municipal golf course owned and operated by the city of Lawrence on the east side of Clinton Lake west of town.

The layout begins with a half-dozen open link-style holes while the balance is lumber through the deep forest along the Wakarusa River. It meanders over a large tract of land with unique and isolated, mounded fairways bordered by numerous water hazards and an assortment of sand bunkers. From the tips, it plays to 6,984 yards, 73.9/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Jeff Brauer.
