Eagle Bend is an upscale, municipal golf course owned and operated by the city of Lawrence on the east side of Clinton Lake west of town.

The layout begins with half-dozen open, links style holes while the balance are lumber through the deep forest along the Wakarusa River. It meanders over a large tract of land with unique and isolated, mounded fairways bordered by numerous water hazards and an assortment of sand bunkers. From the tips it plays to 6,984 yards, 73.9/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Jeff Brauer.
