Door Creek Golf Course is located east of Madison in Cottage Grove with 27 holes including an 18 hole, championship layout and a 9 hole, executive course.

The layouts are parkland style designs moving through tree lined fairways with a liberal amount and variety of sand bunkers prevalent along the fairways and greenside. The fairways are a blend of narrow and broad, corridors with ponds and Door Creek in play on over half the holes featuring a semi-island green. The tips play to 6,477 yards, 70.5/119, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees. The Executive layout is a par of 30 at 1,471 yards with six par 3s and three par 4s, with both courses designed by Jim Bradt.
