Deep Springs is 40 miles north of Greensboro, just south of Stoneville on the north side of the Dan River.

The layout is over rolling hills and along dense, tree-lined fairways with 60 sand traps along the landing zones and defending the undulating greens and water in play on 6 holes. There are tees from 4,935 to 7,015 yards; the White tees are 6,349 yards, 70.7/128, course/slope ratings, designed by Ellis Maples.
