Crosswinds is at the Savannah Airport exit of I-95 to the east at Airways Avenue.

The parkland layout flows along rolling, broad fairways bordered by mature oaks, pines, wetlands, ponds, and sand bunkers. It's an interesting layout with a variety of hole designs and includes five par 5s and 5 par 3s for additional scoring opportunities. The course was designed by Mike Kistler and Rusty Simmons in 2000 and plays to 6,748 yards, 72.2/133, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
