The Cowboys Golf Club is due north of the DFW Airport on the east side of Lake Grapevine carved through forested land without homes or development along the layout. It's the only NFL team course in the country and of course the clubhouse is loaded with Cowboys memorabilia along with a Cowboys merchandise pro shop.

The golf course is over slightly rolling terrain with a number of lakes and streams as major water hazards. Some of the holes have tree lined fairways or borders while others are out in the open with a links feel. There's considerable mounding along the fairways and especially around the elevated greens which are generally large, undulating, and quick. It plays to 7,017 yards, 74.7/138, course/slope ratings from the back tees, from the blue tees, it's 6,182 yards, 70.9/131, designed by Jeff Brauer in 2001.
