Christmas Lake Golf Course is about an hour west of Louisville off I-64 in Santa Claus on the east side of Christmas Lake.

The golf course is an interesting and challenging layout lumbering along isolated and unique, fairways carved through the woods. After a relatively straightforward front nine over level terrain, the backside gains in elevation along narrow corridors with numerous slight doglegs. Overall, there's a stream and multiple ponds in play in addition to an adequate supply of sand bunkers commanding your attention. It was designed by Ed Ault with five sets of tees and is 7,275 yards, 74.9/136, course/slope ratings from the tips, 6,243 yards, 70.0/126 from the middle, white tees.
