The Cheyenne CC is located on the north side of Cheyenne off US 87 on the west side of Lake Absarraca and open to public play during the week.

The layout is a traditional parkland style design over level terrain along tree lined fairways and multiple water hazards including five holes encircling a lake. The fairways tend to be narrow with a variety of sand bunkers primarily around the modest, raised greens and the occasional fairway landing zone. From the back tees it's 6,547 yards, 70.8/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, a classic design by Herbert Lockwood in 1907.
