The Cherry Hill CC is in the small, former coal-mining and lumber-boom town of Richwood, located 28 miles east of Summersville and known as the Gateway to the Monongahela National Forest.

This 9-hole layout is a few miles north of Richwood in a valley setting surrounded by a deep forest. It's very straightforward along fairways defined by rows of trees leading to modest, oval greens with a scattering of sand bunkers. Off the back tees, it can play to 33.8/110, course/slope ratings with one shorter tee, and alternative tees for the back nine.
