Chena Bend is east of Fairbanks off Route 2 at Badger Road on Fort Wainwright.

The layout is a tree-lined, traditional design over rolling terrain with sand bunkers along the fairways and greens in addition to several ponds and a few holes running along the Chena River. From the black tees, it's 7,012 yards, 73.6/128, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Jerry Matthews.
