The Cheboygan Golf & Country Club is northwest of Cheboygan off US 23 at Old Mackinaw Road to the west.

The layout's front side has a linksy feel, with open, undulating fairways bordered by sand bunkers, and the Little Black River snaking through the northern section of the course. The backside is parkland style along tree-lined fairways featuring several doglegs and water hazards on half the holes. It's a short 5,923 yards from the tips for a par of 70, 69.0/122, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Art Pryor in the early 1920s.
