Cape Arundel is a classic golf course from the late 1800s located north of Kennebunkport on the banks of the Kennebunk River.

The golf course is a compact parkland layout with narrow fairways bordered by scattered trees over generally level terrain. There's eight holes along or over the River and sand bunkers positioned at the landing zones and defending the modest greens. The golf course's initial 9 holes were designed by Alexander Findlay with an addition and redesign by Walter Travis. It plays to 5,881 yards from the tips for a par of 69, 67.2/121, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
