Canyon Springs is located north of Twin Falls on the south side of the Snake River along the bottom of the canyon.

The golf course is a parkland layout with scattered trees lining the broad fairways, minimal sand bunkers mostly greenside, multiple ponds, numerous doglegs, and modest greens. There's four sets of tees overall and from the tips it's 6,763 yards, par 72, 71.3/122, course/slope ratings. The original 9 holes designed by Max Mueller in the early 1970s with the second nine by Bob Baldock in the late 1980s.
