Cantigny is 30 miles west of downtown Chicago in Cantigny Park on Roosevelt Road in Wheaton with three nines, Lakeside, Woodside, and Hillside on a roomy tract of land without homes or development along the layout.

The golf course journeys through a parkland setting over rolling hills and along lakes and forests with classic design elements. There's water in play on multiple holes, a generous amount of sand bunkers, and a mix of constricted and open fairway corridors off the tee and around the occasional dogleg. There's four sets of tees overall, Hillside is shortest at 3,394 yards, Lakeside, 3,437 yards, Woodside, 3,567 yards all from the back tees.
