Brighton Dale is a municipal golf complex between Milwaukee and the Illinois state line near Kenosha. It has 45 holes of golf off I-94 at Durand Avenue to the west.
All the layouts are parkland-style designs along unique and isolated fairways over undulating terrain. The fairways are defined by old-growth, hardwood trees, natural areas, ponds, lakes, and wetlands that dot the landscape with sand bunkers defending the greens and the occasional fairway. The White Birch course is 6,977 yards, 74.3/137, course/slope ratings; the Blue Spruce is 6,687 yards, 72.1/130, both from the tips with three shorter tees. Red Pines is 3,512 yards off the tips, 36.5/137. The White Birch course and the Red Nine are Ed Ault designs from the early 1970s, while the Blue Spruce is a Steve Halberg design from the early 1990s.
