Boulder Pointe is 30 minutes south of Minneapolis, just off I-35 at CR 2, a few miles west, just south of the Elko Speedway.

The golf course wanders through a residential community along unique fairways over a large tract of land. It's a parkland design with broad fairway corridors bordered by trees, wetlands, and ponds on most holes, in addition to a generous amount os sand bunkers. The layout is short at 6,284 from the tips, with 70.9/127 course and slope ratings and three shorter tees, designed by Kevin Norby.
