Boots Randolph is in the Land Between the Lakes area of western Kentucky in Cadiz about 1 1/2 hours from Nashville in the Lake Barkley State Resort Park 30 miles miles west of Hopkinsville.

The layout is a traditional design with The Big Blue Spring in play on half of the holes along tree lined fairways on level land with sand bunkering around many of the greens. It was designed by Larry Packard in the early 1970s and from the back tees is 6,754 yards, 70.8/121, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
