Bois De Sioux Golf Course is off I-29 at the Rt 13/Wahpeton exit about an hour south of Fargo.

The Bois de Sioux and the Otter Tail Rivers join at Wahpeton and Breckenridge to form the Red River of the North essentially splitting the golf course in two with the front side in Wahpeton, ND, and the back side is in Breckenridge, MN. It's a parkland layout with scattered trees lining the fairways along mostly natural corridors and water hazards in play on over half the holes. The original course was a 9 holer by Robert Harris from the early 1920s and was redesigned and new nine added in 2008 by Jeff McDowell after a flood of the Red River of the North. It's an interesting layout featuring the 9th, somewhat of a copy of Augusta National's 13th. Overall it plays to 6,573 yards from the tips, 72.2/122, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
