The Blue Shamrock CC is 20 miles north of Allentown off the Northeast Extension at Lehighton then south to Palmerton.

The golf course is carved through the deep woods over rolling topography and along broad, fairway corridors. It's generally straightforward save for several gentle doglegs and features multiple water hazards and 55+ sand bunkers including two greens virtually enveloped by sand. It can play to 6,572 yards, 71.7/126, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Art Wall.
