Blue Rock Springs with 36 holes is in Vallejo on the east side of I-80 at exit 33 within a natural area with homes only on the perimeter of a few holes.

The West course is a parkland layout winding along tree lined fairways mostly down in the valley with a couple of holes moving up and down the hills. It's the original here built in the 1940s and is only 6,014 yards from the back tees, 69.1/125, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees. The East is an updated design and a challenging layout along hilly and sloping, fairways with an abundance of sand bunkers and generous, contoured green complexes. It was designed by Robert Muir Graves and plays to 6,133 yards, 70.0/127, course/slope from the tips.
