Barrington Hall is on the northwest side of Macon, off I-475 at Zebulon Road to the west.
The golf course serpentines through a residential community along narrow, isolated oak- and pine-tree-lined corridors over rolling contours. There are numerous water hazards, including Rocky Creek, which traverses the eastern third, and sand bunkers mostly defend the modest, contoured greens, which, overall, render it a shotmaker's layout where accuracy is rewarded over distance. There are five sets of tees from 5,715 yards to 7,064 yards off the tips, with the middle tees playing to 6,196 yards, 70.3/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Tom Clark.
