Anderson Creek borders a developing residential community located about 20 minutes north of Fayetteville and Fort Bragg and about an hour east of Pinehurst.

The layout is very similar to the sandhills area around Pinehurst with heavy pine tree lined fairways lined with fescue, six holes with water hazards, and sand bunkers guarding both the landing zones and the greens. It plays to 7,215 yards from the tips, 75.9/140, course/slope ratings with four other sets of tees, designed by Davis Love III.
