The Alva Golf and Country Club is on the north side of Alva off US 281 to the west.

The course is a 9 hole layout traversing a large, natural tract of land on the east side of the Salt Fork of the Arkansas River. It's straightforward ambling along fairways defined by trees leading to modest, oval greens with minimal sand and water in play. The course was designed by Floyd Farley and from the back tees will play to 3,514 yards, 35.5/121, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
