Alsatian is 30 minutes southwest of San Antonio in Castroville.

The course winds through a residential community with homes along the exterior holes. The fairways are broad with scattered trees along the borders intersected by numerous streams and ponds and a moderate amount of sand traps. The course was designed by Steve Mrak in the mid 1990s with four sets of tees from 4,872 yards to 6,436 yards, the Blue tees are 5,962 yards, 68.3/116, course/slope ratings.
