Acushnet River Valley Golf Course is north of New Bedford in Acushnet Center between I-195 and Route 140.

The course layout is a blend of parkland and links elements with a front nine over undulating terrain and through pine trees while the backside begins in the woods, but finishes along an open, meadow-like series of holes framed by tall fescue grasses. In terms of hazards, there's several ponds/wetlands in play in addition to an abundance of sand bunkers defending the landing zones and greens. The course has four sets of tees measuring 5,099 to 6,807 yards, 72.5/124 ratings from the back tees, designed by Brian Silva in 1998.
