12 Shores at Ute Lake is a 9 hole, Jack Nicklaus design on the south shore of Ute Lake between Logan and Tucumcari, exit 355 off I-40 if you're coming from Texas, or 329 at Tucumari if you're coming from the west.

The course treks through a future real estate development along the Lake in a scenic setting. The layout is mostly level with a few holes along the Lake and bordering the wetlands, and a classic Nicklaus design providing significant sand bunkering where strategic play is required. The fairways are bordered by tall native grasses well off from the desert terrain and are mounded and undulating throughout with mildly undulating, generous greens.
