Valley View is about 30 minutes from downtown Louisville in Floyds Knob just north of New Albany.

The golf course is a parkland layout on the north side of Little Indian Creek in a generally natural setting. The fairways are defined by trees featuring numerous slight doglegs with sand traps primarily around the greens in addition to ponds and the Creek in play on multiple holes. There's four sets of tees with the tips at 6,910 yards and a 128 slope, the middle tees are at 5,645 yards, 67.1/112, course and slope ratings, designed by William Diddle.
