Val Halla is a municipal golf course located 10 minutes north of Portland in Cumberland Center off Route 9.

The layout lumbers through tree lined fairways over generally level land with an isolated sand bunker along the fairways or greens, one pond and a small stream in play, and modest greens. The course was designed by Phil Wogan in the 1960s and from the back tees is 6,595 yards, 71.0/132, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
