Swope Memorial is located on the southeast side of Kansas City near Raytown off I-435 at exit 67.

Swope is a hidden A.W. Tillinghast designed gem, and while a municipal golf course was once host to the Kansas City Open in the 40s and 50s and most recently the USGA Women's Public Links Championship. It meanders over somewhat hilly terrain along narrow, tree lined fairways playing to modest, multi-tired and undulating greens defended by a generous amount of sand bunkers. The course plays to a short 6,274 yards, 70.9/128, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees.
