The Richland Golf Club is on the west side of Frederick just off I-70 at the Old National Pike exit to the west.

The golf course is a parkland design ambling through a residential community along broad, contoured fairways bordered by trees over slightly rolling terrain. In terms of hazards, Hollow Road Creek traverses the middle of the layout producing numerous wetlands and natural areas and sand bunkers obliterate the landscape at the landing zones and greens. There's a total of four tees with the tips playing to 6,811 yards, 72.9/139, course/slope ratings, designed by Rick Jacobson.
