Pennyrile Forest State Park Golf Course is 1 1/2 hours south of Evansville and 2 hours northwest of Nashville near the eastern side of the Land Between the Lakes area.

The golf course is cut through the deep woods on the north side of Pennyrile Lake. The front side is mostly flat with Clifty Creek running through the middle and water in play on every hole while the newer back side is over rolling hills along pine tree lined fairways. From the back tees the course plays to 6,760 yards, 71.8/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Larry Packard.
