Midlane is on the north side of Chicago off I-94 between Wadsworth and Grand to the east off Yorkshire Road.

The golf course ambles through a residential development and along mature, oak tree lined fairways with water hazards as the dominant feature on 14 holes in addition to a bevy of sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the greens. It can play to 6,848 yards from the tips, par of 71, 73.4/138, course/slope ratings, the white tees are more manageable at 6,159 yards, 70.3/131. designed in two stages by Robert Bruce Harris and Bob Lohmann.
