MacKenzie Oaks is one of two 18 hole golf courses in the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex northeast of downtown Sacramento just inside the intersection of I-80 and Business 80.

The parkland layout features narrow, oak tree lined fairways with Arcade Creek in play on five holes and strategic sand bunker placement guarding the small, turtleback greens. The course plays to 7,030 yards from the back tees, 73.3/126, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees. Alister MacKenzie, who designed Cypress Point, Pasatiempo, and Augusta National, designed the course in 1932 which was renovated in 2001 to restore the course to its original design.
