The Lexington Golf Club is on the west side of town off Link Road and 5 minutes off I-64 or I-81.

The golf club is known as the "Jewel of the Valley" and with good reason as it's a picturesque, parkland layout with views of the Shenandoahs throughout the round. Woods Creek diagonally traverses the course in addition to several ponds along with sand traps at the landing zones and greenside as the primary hazards. From the middle, white tees it's 6,068 yards, 70.2/130, course/slope ratings with a total of five sets of tees. The golf club has been around since the early 1900s with several iterations, the present layout was designed by Ellis Maples and Ed Seay in the mid-1960s.
