Larkin Golf Club is on the south side of Statesville just off I-77 at the Amity Hill Road exit.

The golf course is a parkland layout partially through a residential community with a blend of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways over rolling and level terrain. There's ponds, lakes, wetlands, and creeks in play on ten holes with a moderate amount of sand traps mostly greenside. There's five sets of tees overall, the white tees at 6,003 yards, 67.6/116, course/slope ratings, designed by Clyde Johnson.
