Kahili is located between Wailuku and Maalaea on the Honopiilan Highway.

The golf course climbs through the West Maui Mountains' foothills with 360 degree views especially of Haleakala Volcano and down the west coast. The layout is enjoyable and entertaining as it moves over varying degrees of elevation change along volcanic slag bordered fairways with the trade winds always in play. The course plays to 6,554 yards, 71.9/130, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees, designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright.
