Copper Hills is an hour southeast of Flint and about an hour north of Detroit in Oxford on the east side off Lakeville Road.

There's three nine hole layouts, the Jungle, Marsh, and the Hill. The nines all provide an interesting mix of holes with all elements of golf design, hills, trees, sand, water, elevation change, and undulation to the greens. There's narrow fairways and landing zones, forced carries and doglegs, and all require course management to arrive at the best position for approach to the greens. The Hill/Marsh routing plays to 6,734 yards from the tips, 73.5/145, course/slope ratings; Jungle/Hill, 6,439 yards, 71.2/141; Jungle/Marsh, 6,493 yards, 72.1/141, with four other sets of tees, all designed by Curtis Wright.
